Tim Wheaton - Managing Director

Tim combines 25 years of relevant local, national, and international infrastructure
delivery on projects of up to $8B with 19 years in senior roles working within
organisations including DPTI, Aquenta, McConnell Dowell and Hansen Yuncken. He
has been instrumental in the successful delivery of some of Australia’s most
iconic projects, delivered across urban, brownfield and remote locations, under
a range of contract models. Tim’s collaborative approach is highly regarded by
clients and colleagues alike. His reputation for delivering complex projects
on-time and on-budget, using innovative approaches and methodologies has
resulted in several industry project awards. 

John Connal - Senior Consultant

John is based in Melbourne and provides a national consulting role in transport infrastructure and bridge projects specifically. He has unparalleled experience in the planning, management and technical direction of major infrastructure projects across Australian and internationally, and his extensive project experience is listed overleaf. John’s specialist bridge design skills have gained him involvement on the Main Committee and Sub Committees for AS5100, the Standards Australia Bridge Design Code, for more than 10 years, and he is the author of several industry publications and technical papers. 

Peter Miller - Senior Consultant

Peter has over 40 years of experience in engineering design and construction and has managed a wide variety of civil engineering projects across all mainland states of Australia, in the civil, aviation, defence, mining, wastewater and resources sectors. He has enjoying a hands-on role in all aspects of civil construction contracting including business development, estimating, project management, and design, construction and general management.  Peter’s career includes senior roles within South Australian owned companies Macmahon Construction and Bardavcol, where he delivered many complex projects either as a project manager or in a governance role. He is particularly experienced in delivering projects in remote areas and has an active interest and experience in maximising Indigenous Participation in regional and urban projects.

Ross Papillo - Senior Consultant

Ross has 25 years’ experience in all aspects of civil, rail, water, electrical, structural, mechanical and utility services design, procurement, construction, commissioning, along with operational maintenance contracts. He has successfully delivered complex projects in the road, rail, mining, water, communications and utilities, industrial/commercial and building sectors on projects of up to $5 billion. As a qualified electrician, with a diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Ross has built a solid reputation for his technical ability, commercial skills, safety initiatives and ability to manage conflicting priorities across multiple stakeholders. Ross combines his technical experience with strong time management capabilities, focused on delivering client service efficiency and improvements, with exceptional contract management skills, including a detailed understanding of good governance and business practices.
